By this time there was a pretty good sized crowd at the temple, and we were all hoping that Angel Moroni was really in that trailer. We weren't disappointed!
It was pretty incredible to see just how seamlessly both the spire and Angel Moroni went up on the temple. I got to the temple a little after 8 this morning and Angel Moroni was in place by 11:30. It was pretty amazing to see just how perfectly everything fit together. I know that took some incredible planning from everyone involved. I couldn't help but think of how this planning is much like Heavenly Father's perfect plan for us. He is in the details. Even when things don't seem pretty to us, He has a plan, and He knows what He wants for us. If we trust Him and His plan for us, we will look back and see that His plan for our lives fit together seamlessly.
I feel so blessed that I was able to witness Angel Moroni going up on top of our temple today. I can't even begin to express the feeling that I felt as he came out of that trailer. We are so blessed to have this temple so close to our home.
