Remember when I was talking about how cool it would be to see a truck with temple stone driving on the road? I'd like to say that I got lucky and got to see some, but I didn't. However, my friend, Chanelle Lynch did, and after reading my blog post about how cool I thought it would be, she sent me this picture, and gave me permission to share it here. What a fun experience to get to see a part of the temple driving to the temple site. As I was looking closer at this picture, it looks like there is probably another larger stone slab on the other side of the truck as well. I am amazed at all the work and people that are involved in building our temple. What a blessing! If anyone gets to see angel Moroni driving down the road on the back of a truck, please snap a picture!!
The stone around the west entrance is moving along quickly. I can't wait to walk through these archways.
The stone around the steeple is starting to go up on the south side.
I got to enjoy the sunset while I was at the temple site.
I think I might be a little sad when they are done with the stone. There is something that I just love about seeing these giant slabs waiting their turn to be hoisted up with the crane. That one on the bottom right looks a lot like the one Chanelle saw in her car. So cool!!
The sunset looked really pretty shining through this streetlight.
Stone on the south side of the steeple.
These ones are so pretty. I'm excited to see where they belong.
I enjoyed seeing a glimpse of what it will someday look like with light shining through the temple windows. I can't wait for the temple to be all lit up at night.
